With retirement in the near future, the homeowners were looking to design a welcoming home where their children (and now grandchildren!) could visit and stay with ease.  An open great room and kitchen allow everyone to be together while the extra large island encourages the grandkids to help with the baking.   Large windows bring in tons of natural light as well as views of the surrounding trees in the summer and long views into the valley during the winter months.  

The main floor has everything the homeowners need for “one-level living”, while the ground floor allows guests plenty of comfort and privacy for any length of stay.
